As Sitecore Symposium came to a close in Music City (Nashville, TN), customers and partners alike could leave feeling satisfied that the digital experience software provider was finding its groove again with some of the latest announcements.
As a long-time Sitecore partner and Gold Sponsor of the event, the Oshyn team and several of our MVPs had a chance to reconnect with the rest of the Sitecore community. Here are our biggest takeaways from the event.
Composing the Next Big Hit: Sitecore Stream and Intelligent DXP
The big announcements from Sitecore Symposium were around Sitecore’s newest product, Sitecore Stream, and its embrace of AI. Sitecore Stream is set to offer marketers brand-aware AI that makes recommendations based on the organization’s brand identity, values, and guidelines.
AI-enhanced workflows will help to automate repetitive tasks and improve collaboration. In addition, generative copilots can help marketers stay true to the brand and the briefs they’ve received while completing their work. Sitecore Stream was built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and aims to deliver a seamless experience across solutions, including XM Cloud, Content Hub, and Sitecore Experience Platform (XP).
With Sitecore Stream powering the way, Sitecore is in the beginning stages of its roadmap toward building the industry’s first intelligent DXP. Currently, at the copilot stage, Sitecore plans to create an advisor with advanced generative AI and eventually reach the autopilot stage with sophisticated agentic AI.

Hitting All the Right Notes with XM Cloud
XM Cloud continues to be the flagship product of Sitecore’s composable DXP. Before Symposium, Sitecore announced it had surpassed $500M in ARR, and the demand for composable products like XM Cloud was said to be the main driving force behind this growth.
The latest innovations, including the addition of AI functionality via Sitecore Stream, are positioning XM Cloud (and additional products such as Sitecore Search, Personalize, and CDP) as one of the top SaaS CMS options.
Among the new enhancements that caught our eye were the Sitecore JavaScript Rendering SDKs (JSS) innovations, which enable support for other frontend frameworks besides Next.js.
Also, XM Cloud, along with other tools in the composable stack (Content Hub, Customer Data Platform, and Personalize), is now HIPAA compliant, giving customers in the healthcare industry more trust in the platform to help them meet stringent regulatory requirements.
Staying True to the Roots with Continued Support For Sitecore XP
Sitecore is continuing to support its foundational DXP product, Sitecore XP. Companies can introduce AI via Sitecore Stream, and other feature enhancements will likely be seen in the future.
Sitecore’s strategy seems to be focused on enabling customers to continue using XP but adding various composable products, such as Personalize or Search, to create the best composable DXP for their needs. We look forward to continued news regarding the future of XP.
